To educate is to empower.
A person who feels good—feels confident—about the work they are presenting creates impact and engagement with their audience, and the audience retains significantly more of the information being presented. I created Designed to Engage as a platform to provide training on creating engaging presentations through effective storytelling, design concepts for better engagement, and ways of working more efficiently with PowerPoint.
“Roger consistently receives rave reviews for his trainings. Not only educating, but empowering attendees to go forth and design to engage!” Senior Vice President, Weber Shandwick Global Client Experience
“I'd like to congratulate you on disproving the old adage 'You can't teach an old dog new tricks'. I'm living proof! ... All the feedback I've received [on the training session] has been glowingly positive. MilkPEP (Got Milk?) Client On-site Training, Special Assistant to the CEO
“11/10 presenter! I appreciated his tone, energy, attention, and thoroughness. Designed to Engage Training Session, Attendee Feedback
“I was engaged the whole time! But I especially liked how he went over slide transformations and tips/tricks in ppt. I’ll definitely use those takeaways moving forward.” Designed To Engage Training Session, Attendee Feedback
“Wow - our agency Teams chat is exploding with chat on how good this session is. My favourite below. ‘Oh my god. They should get this guy on one of the government daily briefings instead of a Covid update. The whole country needs to see this.’” Designed to Engage Training, CEO UK, Weber Shandwick
